RAND, W.Va. (AP) - Randy Moss' hometown is fired up about his second trip to the Super Bowl, this time with the San Francisco 49ers.
Moss grew up in the Kanawha County community of Rand. The product of Marshall has long referred to the nonexistent "Rand University" as being his alma mater.
And the daughter of Moss' business assistant is using that reference to promote the town and Moss. Cierra Jones has sold more than 250 T-shirts emblazoned with the Rand University emblem.
Jones tells the Charleston Daily Mail she gave Moss two of the shirts. He took photos of them in front of a 7-Eleven in Rand and posted them on his Twitter account.
Jones' father, Donnie, says there will be a big celebration if the 49ers can pull out a win.
