The Morgantown area welcomed a new Italian restaurant. Tuesday, Provolini's Italian Grille opened their doors at their location in Pierpont Landing.

The owners said it's been about a three-month-long process. After all their hard work, they celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Seven days out of the week, the business serves lunch and dinner. They also have a full service bar. To complement this, there's an extensive wine list, outdoor seating, special event catering and daily specials. The menu includes pasta, gourmet pizza and much more. One of the owners said its Italian cuisine is special.

"We do things differently. There's a lot of Italian restaurants in Morgantown and in the area that do some really good stuff. We are unique as to how we do our sauces and some of our different dishes too, like our steaks and seafood," said Jimmy Sears, one of the owners.

The other two owners are Scott Sears (Jimmy's brother) and Larry Puccio. Provoloni's is a member of the Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce.
