The state's house of delegates will soon act on the recent audit of our state's school system.
Thursday Speaker Rick Thompson announced a nine delegate group to review the findings and recommendations of that audit before the 2013 regular session.
Thompson says the public education system in our state is on the brink of an overhaul thanks the audit. The review said our system is heavily bureaucratic and constrained by state laws. The nine member focus group panel is made up of five Democrats and four Republicans.
The legislative session begins February 13th.
