It looks like a fire that destroyed an abandoned home on the Wetzel and Monongalia County line early Monday morning is suspicious.
Investigators also told 5 News Wednesday afternoon that it might be tied to a case involving a car that was stolen in the same area and found lit on fire.
Sometime Sunday night into early Monday morning police were told that a 2000 Chevy Suburban was stolen out of Wetzel County.
Just after two o'clock on Monday morning is when someone discovered the house on Husky Highway on fire. The person who spotted the fire also found the car that was reported stolen just down the road.
Investigators with the state fire marshal's office thing someone set the car on fire and they're considering a case of arson.
If you have any information call the Arson Hotline at (800) 233-3474.
