The city of Weston is finally getting back on their feet after the Internal Revenue Service stopped funds from it's bank accounts.
Weston was once $800,000 in debt with the IRS, the state of West Virginia, and the Public Employees Insurance Agency. All of the debt has been paid, except the $35,000 to the insurance agency.
The city manager said the Lewis County community ended the fiscal year a couple months ago with almost $180,000. They've been working their way up and they claim they're almost there.
