UPDATE: Taylor county sheriffs deputies believe alcohol played a part in an ATV crash that happened around 1:30 this morning.
According to the sheriff, this all started when a man who was driving that ATV pulled out in front of a deputy on Pup Rup Road, and once he knew he was being followed, he decided to speed off.
Apparently when the deputy finally caught up with him, he had already slammed into a tree on Tappan road. There is still no word on his name condition.

ORIGINAL: One person had to be flown to the hospital after an ATV accident in Taylor County early Monday morning.
According to 911 officials, the ATV crashed into a tree just after 1:30 am on Tappan Road. The patient was initially unresponsive, but was later alert and moving around.
No word on the extent of the patient's injuries. But officials tell 5 News it was some sort of a leg injury, and the patient had to be flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash. The Taylor County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
