Pet Door Rescue Organization Holds 5K to Help Animals

Saturday was a beautiful day to get out there and run and that's just what one organization did. The group Pet Door Rescue had their annual 5K race.  
Runners zoomed through Buckhannon and some of them even had their furry friend tag along. The dogs could even get in on the fun! Along with the 5K, there was a dog dash where the pets raced.
Organizers said all the profits will go toward helping abused and neglected animals. They said their biggest focus is spaying and neutering because they want to tackle the problem at its source.
At Saturday's event, they said they had a great turnout. Over fifty runners were there.
