On Thursday, the West Virginia Board of Education voted to fire State Superintendent, Jorea Marple.  Now, reports are everywhere that suggest the man who is expected to replace her, Randolph County Superintendent Dr. James Phares will turn in his resignation Monday night at the Randolph BOE meeting.
Some said the firing was politically fueled. That's because Gayle Manchin was one of the people who voted to fire Marple.
Whatever the case may be, they'll be having a special meeting on Wednesday to replace her.
That's where Dr. Phares is expected to be nominated for the position.
