A plane carrying country star Miranda Lambert was forced to make an emergency landing in Clarksburg Tuesday night.

According to Lambert's camp, the country music star and her team were traveling from New York to Nashville for one of several appearances during CMT week, when the plane lost cabin pressure and was forced to make a pit stop right in our area.

Lambert took to Instagram to tell her fans what happened, writing, "Our plane had an emergency landing in Clarksburg WV. But don't worry, we found platinum fire suits. Yes! #platinum"

"Our plane had an emergency landing in Clarksburg, West Virginia," said Lambert. "But don't worry, we found platinum fire suits."

According to CBS News, the plane lost pressure and spent about three hours on the ground before resuming its southward trek, said Wes Vause, Lambert's publicist. Killing time, Lambert and friends hung out with firefighters while trying on their appropriately shiny hazmat suits - Lambert's new album is named "Platinum" - and posting pictures to Instagram. They also listened to a lot of country music.
