Police in Monongalia County need your help trying to figure out who is responsible for apparently stealing a whole bunch of items from cars earlier this week.

This all supposedly happened early Wednesday morning at a couple of developments near the Mileground.

About dozen residents told police they had laptops and change stolen from their cars.

Police police were able to track down most of the stolen loot in a parked car in the area.

Neighbors told investigators they saw two guys with backpacks walking through the area right before all of this happened.

If you have any information call the Morgantown detachment of the West Virginia State Police at (304) 285-3200.
