The Bridgeport Police arrested one man, and are searching for two more people, after the trio was caught supposedly using counterfeit money to buy things at Meadowbrook Mall.
Detectives arrested Steven Borum, of Ohio, for the crime. They said Borum and another black man and black woman spent multiple counterfeit $50 bills at a variety of stores in the mall.
If you have any idea of who the other two people are, or you suspect that you may have received some of the counterfeit money, call Bridgeport Police Detective Wilfong at 304-848-6116.
