Holiday shopping can be fun, but it can also be stressful. That's why roughly half of all people claim they can't stand this time of year.

According to a new CBS News poll, 50% of all people are saying they dread shopping for gifts during the holidays. On the other hand nearly 42% of people claim they look forward to buying presents.

Some people in this area are saying they're getting excited while others aren't because they don't like how crazy it gets.

Virginia resident David Galloway said, "You can't pass up the deals, but I don't like the fact that there are so many people who fight over things. That's not what the holiday season should be about."

Missouri resident Wijadan Albassam said, "I like shopping especially on Black Friday. I think there are good deals and I like to go out and shop a lot."

If you haven't started shopping yet you may want to get going because Christmas is only a few weeks away.
