Starting Sunday you'll need another penny to mail a letter.
The price of a first-class stamp will rise to 46 cents. The hike comes as the Postal Service continues to struggle to make money and is in desperate need of help from congress.
Mailing a  postcard will increase from 32 cents to 33 cents.
The post office is introducing a new forever global stamp, that will let you send letters worldwide for $1.10.
In the past year, the Postal Service has cut hours at thousands of post offices and consolidated some plants.
