The City of Salem may be holding a recall election for four of it's council members in the near future.
Salem residents Bob Bland and Kenneth Truax have petitions that have been signed by twenty percent of the registered voters in the town demanding the recall of council members Israel Williams, Laurie McKowen, Bobby Knight, and Doug Fischer.
One sticking point Tuesday night was the amount of money that needs to accompany the petitions to help pay for the recall election.  City Manager Joe Davis and City Clerk Kayla Lowther will discuss the matter and determine the amount.
Davis and Lowther will decide by the end of the week how much the petitioners will have to pay.
