On 5 News we've been updating you on the RN Program at Salem International University. If you don't remember what happened, earlier this month the State's Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses revoked their accreditation.

As of Friday, the board withdrew their previous decision to revoke their accreditation. Their classes will start back up next Monday.

Of course there are some conditions the university must meet along the way. Many of you are probably wondering how this happened. Well, when the students and the officials found out about the boards decision they were extremely confused and angry. So many of the students and even the president of the school went to Charleston to get to the bottom of this and it paid off.

One of the nursing students said she wasn't comfortable going on camera because since they don't go back to school until Monday she doesn't know what actually is going to happen and what the plan is.

One person in the Harrison County Community said it's terrible the students had to go through this but at least it's up and running again.
