If you're looking for something fun to do with the kids this weekend, how about catching a show with them? Sesame Street Live is going on at the WVU Creative Art's Center in Morgantown.
Elmo, The Count, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, and all the members of Sesame Street gang took to the stage for some singing and dancing on Saturday. It was called Monsters Becoming Musicians.
The songs could possibly be some children's first theatrical performance, and parent's at the event were happy to create the memory with them.
Besides creating those lasting memories, the show is aimed towards teaching kid's things like new words, numbers, and even exposes them to some Spanish.
Leann Bergaman said, "It's very educational. She loves Sesame Street, and the shows are very interactive. So, we're excited! I mean, it gets the kids involved singing and playing with one another and themselves. Sesame Street in general is just great."
Her little girl Ava added, "Elmo!"
Now if you haven't been able to make it out to the show, you have two more chances on Sunday afternoon. There's a show at 1 o'clock and another at 4:30 PM. You can get tickets at any Ticketmaster outlet or the box office at the Creative Art's Center.
