Police in Monongalia County county told 5 News it looked like shoppers there behaved themselves fairly well while hunting for the bargains.
That's a good thing because from all accounts the stores there were packed last night.
A few shoppers, who started late Thursday night, were still out early Friday afternoon.
They told 5 News that they were happy with the deals they got.
Christina Turley, a Pennsylvania resident, said she saved at least $400.
"I got some great deals at Victoria Secret," Turley said. "Walmart opening at 8 p.m. was fantastic."
"I like the deals," Mary Murray, another Pennsylvania resident, said. "The people watching is fun and we definitely enjoy it."
Everyone, who spoke with 5 News, at the Morgantown Mall said the fact that stores opened last night helped them get everything done quicker.
