Even though most of us only saw about an inch of snow between Saturday night and Sunday morning, it caused a lot of travel headaches for drivers, and several accidents.

There were several weather-related accidents in Harrison County on Sunday; most of them being minor with little or no injuries reported.

With that in mind, it's a good reminder for you take it slow on ice and snow. That's why officials want you to remember that even though winter has been here for awhile, it's not over yet, and you need to make sure to stay safe while driving.

"The main thing is to make sure everyone out there is slowing down when conditions are hazardous, snowy, and icy. Also remember that bridges can freeze before roadways," said Lt. Joe Keough, of the Clarksburg Fire Department.

Snow showers are expected over the next couple of days, and another blast of arctic air is expected Tuesday night into Wednesday, with temperatures expected to be in the single digits, so make sure you stay warm and safe out there.
