A bill that will allot funding for a new WVU baseball stadium passed Wednesday night.

That's when lawmakers came to an agreement in Charleston to pass that bill. It's supported by a tax increment financing project, commonly known as a "TIF".
It will pay for the new ballpark, and fund a new interchange off of Interstate 79.
The bill passed the senate but was never voted on in the house during the regular legislative session.
On Wednesday, lawmakers were able to come to an agreement on that bill along with another one that deals with magistrate pay. That allowed the governor to call the special session.
