A man charged for his role in abusing a 2-year-old last year found out Wednesday that he'll be spending some time locked up.

Frank Cherubino admitted to being involved in the child abuse case. He claims that he came home, found the little girl abused, then left again. He said he regrets leaving and not telling authorities. He was sentenced to 1 to 3 years behind bars.
Cherubino's girlfriend , Kelsey Turner, was also charged in this case. She admitted to abusing her daughter and faces a 5 to 25 year sentence.
