There's so much to do at the Strawberry Festival, it's hard to choose a favorite thing but towards the top of nearly everyone's list would be strawberry shortcake.
The Chapel Hill United Methodist Church is just one of the many places you can enjoy shortcake. They're marking their 25th year of serving the delicious treat to festival goers.
During festival week, they will serve 150 gallons of ice cream, 1,000 dozen sugar cookies and go through 110 flats of strawberries.
All of the proceeds go to a scholarship fund for children who attend the church.
