Students took part in digital learning day Wednesday at Preston High School and Randolph Technical Center in Elkins.
They are now taking a hands on approach and testing a beta version on the new Globaloria Curriculum. The program teaches students industry standards for developing programming for consoles, mobile devices and the web.
Deborah Super of the Randolph Technical Center says; "There is a big market for video game designers right now. There are more job openings than there are people to fill them. There are more job openings in that field than in any other media field, so its wide open out there".
