If you live in Monongalia County you can breathe a little easier tonight. That's because you're apparently breathing in some of the cleanest air in the state.

That's according to the officials with the American Lung Association. They just released the results of their annual "State of the Air Report".

This is the first time the county has been given an "A" ranking. That's because researchers found that they had zero days where soot reached unhealthy levels.

Despite the good grade, Chris Haddox, the co-chair of the Morgantown Green Team, said there's still work to be done to keep pollution levels down.

"I think it'ss going to be challenging as we grow," Haddox said. "Especially as we get in our cars more."

Mon County got an average grade for their number of  unhealthy ozone days.
