You can do your taxes yourself or go to an accountant to have them done but in the end, you have to have them filed by April 15.
The Bridgeport Public Library does have tax forms for the public to help them out during this time. This year, things are coming in a lot later than usual because of the delay on the American Taxpayer Relief Act. Right now they do have a variety of tax forms but they're short on instruction books. They were told these books are currently being printed and they won't be here until the end of February.
State tax forms and instruction books are readily available for the public.
There's plenty of software available to do your taxes.
Tax forms and information are available
here.
