An accident in Taylor County sent at least one person to the hospital Wednesday afternoon.

It happened just after 2:00 p.m. on Route 50, near Wilson Road, in Grafton. 911 officials said some type of dump truck hit the passenger side of another car with two people inside.

One person had to be cut out and had serious injuries. HealthNet was called in, but couldn't fly because of the weather. At least one person was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital by ambulance.

The Taylor County Sheriff's Department is investigating. Stay with 5 News for more updates.
