Taylor County Sheriff's Investigation Overnight Car Break In's

The Taylor County Sheriff's Department is investigating a rash of car break ins overnight.

11 cars were broken in to on Pup Run Road in Taylor County Tuesday night. 

The sheriff's department said nine of the 11 vehicles were unlocked. This lead they way for the suspects to take items such as electronics, cash, and purses. Along with a number of other personal belongings. Deputies said windows were broken on the cars that were locked, but had personal items visible.

Taylor County Sheriff Terring Skinner wants to encourage all residents to make sure you lock your vehicles at all times, as well as report any and all suspicious activity in your area as it happens.
