Teenager Accused of Stabbing Classmate to Death to Be Tried as Adult

The Randolph County Prosecuting Attorney's office said Thomas Chevy Vas, who is accused of stabbing a classmate to death in October, will be tried as an adult.
 
Vas supposedly stabbed 17 year-old Dustin White several times before a Tygarts Valley High School football game. The incident occurred on on Oct. 26, 2012 about 20 minutes before a game between Tygarts Valley and Hundred High School.
 
The case will be transfered to the adult criminal court docket.
 
Before the case can proceed, it will have to be presented to the Randolph County Grand Jury.
