Three Students Injured in Early Morning Bus Accident

Three high school students were taken to the hospital this morning after a school bus accident in Lewis County.
 
According to the Weston Police Department, a school bus was involved in a rear-end collision around 7:30 this morning.
 
Three students were taken by ambulance to Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. All of the other students were loaded onto another bus and taken to Stonewall for precautionary measures, and parents were notified.
 
The accident happened on Interstate 79, near mile marker 99, and is under investigation by the Weston Police Department.
 
Police say there were no serious or life threatening injuries.
