There are all different types of cancer out there that people suffer from everyday. One that can be common in men is prostate cancer.
5 News spoke with Tony Siragusa, a former NFL Football Player, who has a message for all the men out there. It's okay to talk about your problems.
He said this is an important subject for him because many of his friends and family members have prostate cancer. Which isn't surprising if you look at the recent statistic. 1 in 6 men are going to get prostate cancer which is about 4,000,000 Americans.
If you do get this and have to get surgery, a common side effect is issues with bladder control. Siragusa told me that he teamed up with Depends for "Guard Your Manhood" which is something men can use to help with bladder problems. He said the subject is a little embarrassing, but it's better to be open about it.

"Women have a lot easier time talking to other women about this, but guys have the big macho thing and guys want to be guys which I don't have a problem with. When it comes to preventative measures, talking to your doctor, going to get your scans, and making sure you're up on top of this growing problem of prostate cancer in the United States it's very important," said Siragusa.
