Toughman Kicked Off Friday Night In Elkins

The toughest fighters in the area made their way to Elkins Friday night for the annual Toughman competition.
 
Hundreds packed the gym at Elkins High School for all of the excitement and thrills for this statewide event. There was up to 40 matches Friday night, but Saturday night, the champion will be announced. Fighters could go at it up to four times this weekend. If you're a Toughman fan, this is the weekend for you.
 
"It's a fun event, good entertainment, there is always a good crowd, there is always a good show, for a person who likes boxing there is a lot of good fights, there is a lot of fun that goes on," said Frank Swisher, M.D. 
 
Doors open again Saturday night at 6:30 and the boxing starts at 7:30 at Elkins High School.
