Crews were routing traffic off at exit 10 on I-68 westbound after a tractor trailer caught fire there around 2:00 Tuesday afternoon. It appears that no one was hurt , but crews spent several hours working to clean up the mess it left behind.

Emergency officials told 5 News that Hazmat teams had to be called in because apparently more than 100 gallons of fuel also spilled on the road.

Parts of I-68 east and west had to be closed down for some time,  but the eastbound lanes are open.

Drivers heading west did see some congestion because traffic heading that direction was being rerouted off at exit 10 and then being let back on the interstate at the next exit.
