A traffic stop led to the arrest of two people after Lewis County Sheriff's deputies allegedly found thousands of dollars worth of heroin in their car.
Sheriff Adam Gissy said they believe 50-year-old Stewart Mitchell and 44-year-old Shannon Epp came into Lewis County to sell drugs. When they were heading back to Upshur County, deputies stopped them near the line. In the car, they found more than 110 stamps of heroin which is worth a little less than $3,000. They also found marijuana, needles and other drug paraphernalia.
The pair was charged with possession with intent to deliver. This incident could lead to more arrests.

Good job! Keep on these drug dealers until they've all been caught and the rest think TWICE before coming here to do their business!! Cleaning up Upshur and Lewis county is a PRIORITY!
