Two people have been arrested for a robbery in Mon County after authorities investigated a robbery at Belko Foods in Blacksville. State Police and the Mon County Sheriff Department made the arrests Monday night at the Morgantown Motel.

Timothy Mitchell allegedly robbed the grocery store on Sunday. Police said he picked up a six-pack of beer, waited until the store was empty, and pulled a gun on the cashier and demanded money. Police said he then fled in a stolen Toyota Corolla driven by Michelle Barto. She's been charged with conspiracy to commit a robbery. Police found them both in the motel after one deputy identified the stolen vehicle parked outside. Barto apparently answered the door while Mitchell hid in the bathroom. Both were arrested and put in jail.

Authorities are still investigating several other robberies in Mon and Preston counties. Stay with 5 News for updates.
