Two people escaped a burning home early Friday morning in Randolph County.

Firefighters say they got the call that the Orchard Street home was on fire around 3 a.m. When they got to the scene, flames were shooting through the windows.

Two people were inside but were able to safely escape. No firefighters were injured either.

The fire started on the first floor and spread. There's no word on how the blaze started or how much damage was done.
