UPDATE: One in Fair Condition After Car vs. Motorcycle Accident

UPDATE (6/26):

Taylor County's Sheriff Skinner has confirmed that Daniel Scott Heller of Philippi is the person who had to be flown to the hospital after an accident in Taylor County Wednesday.

Heller had to be flown to Ruby after he stopped his motorcycle to make a turn and a jeep slammed into the back of him. He was thrown from the bike, and when emergency responders got to the scene, the bike was stuck in the front of that jeep and they had to pull it apart. This all happened on Route 119 near 250 South just before 8:30 Wednesday morning. Heller is currently in fair condition at Ruby.

One person had to be flown to the hospital after an accident in Taylor County on Wednesday morning.

Sheriff's deputies told 5 News that a Jeep somehow slammed into the back of a motorcycle on Route 119, near Route 250 South, just before 8:30 a.m.

The driver of the motorcycle was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. There's no word on his condition at this time.

The Taylor County Sheriff's Department is handling the investigation. Stay with 5 News and for any further updates.
