UPDATE: Police Still Searching for White Oaks Bank Robbery Suspect

UPDATE (7/9/2014) 6:20 P.M.
 
Police are now looking for a woman they think may have saw something at the time of the robbery at the Huntington Bank in White Oaks.
 
Police say the woman was in the Huntington Bank drive-thru at the time of the robbery and may have seen something that could help the investigation. Police say she was allegedly driving a white Nissan.
 
UPDATE (7/8/2014) 5:54 P.M.:
 
There are some new developments in the armed robbery that happened Monday afternoon at the Huntington Bank in White Oaks. Police have found the bright orange mask they think the suspect used during the robbery, one mile up Adamsville Road off of Saltwell Road.
 
Police say the suspect is a heavyset, 5'6" white male between 20-30 years old,  believed to be wearing a dark blue "West Virginia" hoodie with a dark blue undershirt, wide leg jeans, tennis shoes and an orange toboggan hat pulled over his face. He is also believed to be driving a medium sized, blue sedan.

Update- 5:49 PM:
 
Police are investigating an apparent armed robbery that happened shortly after 12:00 Monday afternoon at Huntington Bank in White Oaks.

Police say the suspect is a heavyset, 5'6" white male between 20-30 years old,  believed to be wearing a dark blue "West Virginia" hoodie with a dark blue undershirt, wide leg jeans, tennis shoes and an orange toboggan hat pulled over his face. He is also believed to be driving a medium sized, blue sedan.

Police set up a road block near the bank and searched all cars leaving the area Monday afternoon, but the suspect was not found.

The FBI and local police are currently investigating bank surveillance tapes, and we will bring you more information as it becomes available.
 
Update: 
 
Police have confirmed the suspect had some sort of weapon and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.  He was wearing an orange mask of some kind.
 
The entire area has been cleared out, and the road block did not produce any information.
 
The Clarksburg and Bridgeport Police Departments, FBI, DEA, U.S. Marshals, and the Drug Task Force were all on scene.
 
No injuries have been conformed at this time and the bank is still closed for investigation.

Police couldn't share any other details when 5 News arrived on the scene.
 
Here's a description of the suspect: he's a six foot white man, driving a blue sedan. 
 
FBI investigators are still inside the bank. 
 
Traffic in the area is backed up as police continue to search vehicles exiting the area.

Glad to see Marion County law enforcement actually caring about the community. If it was Monongalia County they would have told you there was nothing they can do.
