Deputies with the Lewis County Sheriff's Department still needs your help after they say a man ran from them after leading them on a pursuit Tuesday morning.
Sheriff Adam Gissy said a deputy tried to pull over Eric Wade Chidester on Route 19 South in Walkersville. However, he allegedly wouldn't stop and lead the officer on a chase for a few miles. He ended up jumping out of his car and over a hillside near the Route 4 intersection.
He now has a warrant out for his arrest. Police say Chidester will be charged with fleeing in a vehicle and prohibited person in possession of a firearm as well as multiple traffic offenses.
If you know where he is call the Sheriff's Department at 304-269-8251.
