Some West Virginia University students got a glimpse into what their future could look.

That's because the U.S. Court of Appeals set up shop the university's law school Thursday.

A panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit heard arguments for three cases in Morgantown.

Officials with the school said visits like this are a good way to emphasize what's learned in the classroom.

Students were also eager to check out the proceedings.

WVU's law school is the only one the court will visit this session.
