Deputies in Upshur County were able to make an arrest and recover stolen items in an ongoing breaking and entering case this weekend.
They arrested 25 year-old Dustin Mills of French Creek on Friday.
They said Mills had been breaking into homes in the southern end of the county. Deputies were able to recover about $5,000 worth of the stolen equipment, and have already returned most of it to the owners.
"A lot of times, we go out and make an arrest, and we can never locate the property, so we're not in the position to return it. But in this case, we were able to find a lot of it, and we've contacted the owners and they're very pleased," said Sheriff David Coffman.
The sheriff also said he expects more arrests to be made, and more stolen property to be found. If you have any information about this case, call the sheriff's department at (304)-472-1180.
