Deputies in Upshur County have arrested a woman on several counts of embezzlement after they say she's been stealing from two companies she's had ties to for the past year.
43 year-old Pamela Butcher of Buckhannon has apparently been taking the money from two companies she's worked for.

She supposedly started this around this time last year when she started cashing checks from Roustabout Services, LLC and TKS Contracting Incorporated.
Right now, deputies aren't releasing exactly how much she's taken, but did say it was in the thousands.
They've been working on this case for the past week, and with some quick work by officers, they were able to arrest her last night.
"It's right up there with our drug problem. I mean, this is a crime against a person. People have the right to be protected, and when this incident occurred, they approached me and asked me to investigate it, and along with myself, Lt. Mark Davis was on board," said Sheriff David Coffman.
The sheriff also said the investigation is ongoing. He said Butcher could be facing additional counts of embezzlement, and it will be sent to a Grand Jury.
