WVU Police are looking for information after an urn was found on school property that's believed to contain human ashes.

It was found by employees in a wooded area on Outlook Street in Morgantown. Local law enforcement and WVU Police are working on the investigation but have not found the owner.

Captain Phil Scott says it's been outdoors on a wooded lot for a while. But Scott says it's not related to another case in which cremains were stolen from a vehicle.

Anyone who may have information is asked to call Captain Phil Scott at (304) 293-3136.
