Just before 5:00 p.m., Monday fire broke out at a home on Montrose Avenue in Morgantown.
5 News is told a woman, a one year old baby and her pets were able to make it out safely. Crews were able to get the flames out about ten minutes after they got there.
It started in a front office room and the blaze was contained mostly to that area. The rest of the house suffered smoke and some water damage.
The city fire marshal is investigating the cause. The fire captain on scene estimates about $60,000 in damages.
