With the holidays around the corner, Sundale Nursing Home has set up a program to help brighten the residents' spirits, but it's going to need your help.

The program called Presents For Patients Program and kicked off Thursday evening with the nursing's homes light up night. The residents enjoyed dancing and snacks served by WVU students. The Presents for Patients Program needs community involvement and even time for it to be successful.

"We try to get people in the community to adopt them and come in and visit with them, which is probably more important than the presents and just spend a little time with them and maybe get them an item or two from their wish list,' said Diane Kisinger, Sundale Nursing Home.

If you would like to know more about the Presents for Patients Program, you can contact the Sundale Nursing Home at (304) 599-0497
