Update 3/13/2013:
The Amber Alert for Shaina Nicole Tenney and Grace Hope Tenney has been lifted. They are said to be safe. Margel Tenney is now in police custody. Police apprehended him on Interstate 79 in Lewis County on Wednesday morning.

Update 3/13/2013:
WV State Police say Margel Tenney was under investigation for sexual abuse by a parent or guardian allegations. They were interviewing another family member when Tenney left the office and went to his residence in Kanawha Head. That's where he allegedly abducted his step-daughter, Shaina Tenney, 16, and her 7 month old daughter Grace Hope Tenney. Margel Tenney then apparently traveled to Webster County to pick up a James Tenney. Margel apparently left his Dodge Dually for a 2003 tan Ford Taurus, with the license plate number 2LW 179. That happened at a gas station in Belington. Tenney told witnesses that he was heading to Texas, but a definite travel destination is unknown at this time.
 
Update 3/13/2013:
The Amber Alert for Shaina Nicole Tenney and Grace Hope Tenney has now been issued in Ohio as well. The car they're traveling in was possibly seen crossing into Ohio at 9:00 Tuesday night, via Interstate 77.
 
Officials tell 5 News the car was also possibly spotted in Braxton County.

They may be traveling in a 2003 tan Ford Taurus, with the license plate number 2LW 179. They were last seen traveling on West Virginia Route 20 Southbound near the Upshur and Webster county line.

Reports indicate the man who troopers say abducted a teen and a baby is now driving a 2010 tan Ford Taurus and is headed toward Texas.

The West Virginia State Police are looking for Shaina Nicole Tenney and Grace Hope Tenney. The children were last seen at a residence located in Rock Cave, Upshur County, West Virginia and are believed to be in extreme danger. 
 
Authorities advise the children were likely abducted by a family member by the name of Margel Tenney. They may be traveling in a 1999 Dodge Dually extended cab, red in color with unknown registration. 
 
The vehicle was last seen traveling on West Virginia Route 20 Southbound near the Upshur County Webster County line. If you have any information please contact WVSP - Buckhannon Detachment at 304-473-4200 or the West Virginia State Police, your local 911, or *SP on cell phone.

State Police have issued an Amber Alert for an abducted child in Rock Cave in Upshur County.
 
Troopers said Shaina Nicole Tenney is a 16-year-old white female. She is about 5'2" and 225 pounds. She has black hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen at a home in the Rock Cave area, and we're told she's in extreme danger. She was last seen wearing black stretch pants and a gray shirt with a black or gray hoodie.
 
Authorities said she was likely taken by a family member named Margel Tenney. He is 5'8" and 200 pounds with blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans with Red Wing boots. They could be traveling in a red 1999 Dodge Dually with an extended cab. We're not sure of the registration at this time. The vehicle was last seen heading on Route 20 Southbound.
 
Anyone with information should call 911.
