A family of five escaped their Wyatt home after flames tore through it.
A man tried to move his car parked about three feet from the front porch of the Hardesty Run home when it somehow caught fire around 6:00 a.m. Thursday, spreading to the house.
The owners said the car was having some problems as they drove home from Virginia Wednesday night. But there's no official word on what exactly happened.
The Shinnston Fire Department is investigating.
