5 NEWS UPDATE: Condition Released of Man Hurt In Car vs. Coal Truck Accident

Justin Dansereau is at Ruby in good condition.


One person had to be taken to the hospital after an accident in Harrison County on Monday morning.

According to police, a coal truck was heading south on Route 20, when a car going in the opposite direction went left of center, and the vehicles ended up crashing head-on.

The driver of the car, Justin Dansereau, 22, was taken to United Hospital Center, and then later Ruby Memorial Hospital. HealthNet was called in, but couldn't fly due to the weather. No word on the extent of Dansereau's injuries.

The driver of the coal truck was not injured.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Office is in charge of the investigation.
