The worker who died at the Harrison Power Plant in Haywood Wednesday fell into duct work when he was removing insulation to prepare for a maintenance outage.

FirstEnergy officials told 5 News that safety measures were in place to prevent direct contact with the duct and it is not clear at this time how the employee came to fall.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration was called to the station around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday to investigate the accident.

I agree. Keep politics out of someone's death. Unfortunately the left jump to conclusions and start blaming the company each time. That is putting liberal agendas before finding out about real facts of someone's death. Hypocrites.

Leave he politics out of someones death.

Look up the definition of 'Accident'...you can bet that there is no mention of politics.

Oh the generation of blame, blame, blame but take NO responsibility for one's own actions. The language itself PROVES the greed, selfishness and childish behaviors of this sad, pathetic generation of useless folks who have 'nothing' to show for their lives. This indeed is the most dissapointing generation EVER!

P.s. this is coming from the right! Not the left!

Well to who ever posted that connect. All I have to say is you aren't very intelligent ! Also wait until its someone you love and care about. A lot if people are about there safety and know there life is worth more than a dam pay check! But guess what things happen and sometimes companies are to blame. Because of greed! So stick that connect right up your corporate loving A??!

I've noticed that most of the recent deaths on the job lately at various businesses are due to that workers' clumsiness and deadly mistakes. There's not a whole lot a company can do other than stress daily, safety and focus on the job. You can't control others mistakes while working. But the left will attempt to blame the company rather than the personal responsiblity of the workers.
