5 NEWS UPDATE: Man Killed in Lewis Co. Farm Tractor Accident Identified

State Police said 54-year-old Harry Murphy was inside the tractor when it went into the water around 1:30 p.m. on Hacker's Creek Road.

A Lewis County man is dead after his tractor rolled on top of him while he was working on his farm.

It happened around 1:30 Sunday afternoon at a farm on Hackers Creek Road. Officials told 5 News a 54-year-old man was riding his tractor when it flipped into the creek and then rolled on top of him. The man was trapped underneath until responders could get him out.
 
The man was taken to Stonewall Memorial Hospital where he later died. His name has not yet been released.
