Update 1/6:

5 News has learned the man who was injured in Saturday's accident was Brian Higgins. Deputies said he's still at Ruby Memorial Hospital with a broken neck and fractured skull.

He's the nephew of Daniel Higgins and William Higgins, who are now facing separate DUI charges relating to this accident.

Original Story 1/5:

An accident in Marion County has put two brothers behind bars and sent a third man to the hospital.

It all started a little after 4:30 Saturday afternoon on Buffalo Brink Road in Mannington. Deputies told 5 News that Daniel Higgins was driving his pick-up truck, along with a passenger, when somehow it flipped multiple times after going around a curve.

Deputies said that passenger had serious life-threatening injuries, but instead of calling 911 for help, Daniel apparently called his brother, William, who tried to tow the truck out of a ditch. When deputies got on scene, they arrested both brothers for driving under the influence.

The passenger was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Deputies also said both Higgins brothers will likely face additional charges for attempting to leave the scene of an accident.
