An explosion and fire that destroyed a home in Preston County is being considered an arson case according to the State Fire Marshal's Office.  5 News has also learned that the man who had to be flown from the home to the West Penn Burn Center in Pittsburgh is still in critical condition.

Charles Wayne "Randy" Teeter, who turns 59 on Sunday, suffered serious burns in that explosion.

After sending samples for accelerants to the State Police Lab for Hydrocarbon analysis, investigators ruled explosion was intentionally set .

They also discovered that the kitchen stove's gas line had been disconnected, which they think was the source for the explosion.

This isn't the first time something like this has happened there. Teeter also supposedly tried to burn his house down in June, but the Fire Marshal's Office did not investigate that case.
